Debbie, this is a wonderful tool! Even people who aren't into planning every single meal and snack can use it to track what they're eating and see whether or not they're getting proper nutrition. Thank you so much for creating it and offering it free of charge.

I had a similar experience with Totally Organized the Bonnie McCullough Way. I read it as a young bride and found it really helpful, and when I went to re-read it some time later, I was amazed at how many of the strategies had become part of my regular routine and to discover that was where I'd learned them.

I love your shower gift suggestion - it's so practical and not likely they'll receive duplicates!

Rhonda,

Thank you for your kind comment and great idea!

Yes, yes, I agree that 12 months is a long time to work at a goal. Shorter keeps us focused, and once accomplished energizes us for the next goal. Besides summertime throws our routines off, doesn't it? So maybe resolutions in January and . . . maybe not again until August.

Please drop by again sometime . . . to walk and talk.

Debbie,

Just wanted to stop by and say "thanks" for stopping by my blog and taking time to comment.

Love your article...we often get side-tracked from our goals when we lose focus of our "why"....and without a written plan to achieve those goals, we may never even get started.

Perhaps we should be making bi-annual resolutions instead of just once a year in January. I think in 12 long months we get lost and wander off track. 6 months is shorter...and allows us to reach a goal and then we could aim for another one.

Oh well, just rambling on now. ;)

Have a super day!

Janet,

I'm happy to introduce you to Levenger. They certainly have a variety of lay outs for planning pads. I use a Circa (c) notebook for my blog/business items with different colors of paper depending on the topic: blog ideas, quotes, products and definitely Project Planning sheets. The Oasis Scheduler Pads have room for appointments and for a to-do list in the same place ~ less lists on the desk ~ good idea. Or instead of to-do lists, maybe that's just a doodle space for creative moments. :)

I am one of those people who is constantly searching for The Perfect Planner. I even ran a contest last year to help me cut down on my search time. Surprisingly, no one suggested Levenger, as their Oasis Scheduler Pads might work well for me. I just wish they were dated...

John,

Great suggestion! Freezing means that it is readily available (good time management), especially if you need to change your menu, which I am prone to do in the cold winter months when the mood hits me for soup.

I perused the site you mentioned and found it very interesting. Our readers might also be interested in the free (speaking of economical) baking demos that the King Arthur Flour Company is holding in CA, UT and GA.

Thanks for walkin' and talkin' with me.
